Ginger Grant

Ginger Grant is a fictional character portrayed by actress Tina Louise in the 1964 to 1967 television sitcom ''Gilligan's Island''.

Grant was initially portrayed by Kit Smythe. She is known for casually mentioning big movie stars as her acquaintances. Ginger is often seen helping the Professor with his experiments and sharing romantic scenes with him. She is also the object of desire for The Skipper in several episodes. Ginger sides with Thurston Howell III on many occasions and becomes close friends with Mary Ann. On the island, she takes on various roles such as chanteuse, fortune-teller, and hair stylist. In the ''Gilligan's Island'' reunion films, Louise declined to return, and her role was played by Judith Baldwin and Constance Forslund.
