Among Nevin's books are ''Encyclopedia of Fantastic Victoriana,'' ''Horror Fiction in the 20th Century'' and ''Encyclopedia of Golden Age Superheroes''. He has been a recipient and finalist for a number of honors, including the World Fantasy, Sidewise, and Locus Awards.
