Melinda Shankar

Melinda Leanna Shankar (born February 18, 1992) is a Canadian actress. She is best known for starring as Alli Bhandari in the television series ''Degrassi: The Next Generation'' (2008–2015) and as Indira "Indie" Mehta in the YTV series ''How To Be Indie'' (2009–2011), for which she won several awards, including a Canadian Screen Award in 2013. Her last screen credit was the female lead role of Princess Bella in the 2021 television movie ''Christmas with a Prince: The Royal Baby'', her third appearance in the franchise. Provided by Wikipedia
