Quandra Prettyman

Quandra Prettyman Stadler (January 19, 1933 – October 21, 2021) was senior associate of Africana Studies and English Literature at Barnard College, New York City, United States. She inaugurated Black literary studies in the United States and university courses examining novel topics that later were adopted broadly by others in her profession.
