The century : America's time. 1, Seeds of change /

This program examines daily life in America during the early 1900s--when a loaf of bread cost only a few cents, horse-power really meant horsepower, flying to the moon was the stuff of dreams and the average life span was only 45 years--while looking ahead to the decades of changes yet to come.
