On location with John Wayne and the making of Hondo /
The year is 1874, and the whites have broken their treaty with the Apache Nation. Hondo, a U.S. Cavalry dispatch rider, encounters a woman and her son living alone in Apache territory, and leads them to safety, falling in love along the way.
