The group is lead by Professor Zanof, who uses closed-circuit TV, videotape and other electronic means to let the subject observe his "dream" and "real" worlds in a video laboratory. Sapha is pushed to the brink of his endurance, as he is forced to observe all of his genetic preconditioning and historical social influences, as it is played back to him through the television monitors.
