Description
Summary:Peicovich interviews 26-year-old Emiliano Bustos, author of Trisas al cielo, and 19-year-old Pablo Sanguinetti, author of El sueno de Teseo, both have recently published their first work. Sanguinetti talks about Bustos's book and how it demonstrates some of the fundamental elements that are disappearing from literature. He talks about how he wishes to demonstrate those elements through his own work, and of other things he wishes to effectively illustrate such as poetic imagery. He and Peicovich contrast these elements with the necessity to use singular words with singular meanings. Bustos and Sanguinetti discuss the experience they go through when writing and what writing fulfills for each of them. Sanguinetti reads one of his own texts in response to Peicovich's wondering if he could live without writing. Peicovich reads a critique of Sanguinetti's El sueno de Teseo and of Bustos's Trisas al cielo. He then reads a text by Polish poet and Nobel Prize winner, Wislawa Szymborska. Lastly, Bustos and Sanguinetti each read some of their respective work. Although not discussed, Bustos has recently finished his second work Poemas de hoja.
