Summary: | In post WW II Germany, the aristocratic Von Ornstein family has fallen on hard times. Countess Von Ornstein can't maintain her castle, but things begin to look up with the arrival of a handsome, young footman who apparently can do anything, and will, to gain his goal of becoming a member of the family. Konrad (York), an opportunist in Lederhosen, descends upon the 100-year-old Bavarian castle and proceeds to infiltrate everyone's bedroom. He becomes a footman but soon works his way up the household ladder until he's running things. |
