The collection is accompanied by a color illustration showing the result of the printing. Eight of the ten sides of the blocks have been used, and the leaf is printed in at least seven colors. The blocks are in the style of illustrations by an ukiyoe artist, attributed to Ishikawa Toyonobu. The image is of a single standing lady wearing a covering over her head, leaning into a wind, with a plain background. A pupil of Nishimura Shigenaga, Toyonobu produced many bijin-ga (images of beautiful women), including standing courtesans, whose faces conveyed an impassivity typical of the works of the Kaigetsudō school.
