A Mohawk, Kenny is poet-in-residence at North Country Community College in Saranac Lake, New York and visiting professor at Oklahoma State University in Norman, Oklahoma. Co-editor of Contact/II and editor/publisher of Strawberry Press, his work appears in many outstanding anthologies and journals. He received the prestigious American Book Awards in 1984.
