Budapesti mesek : Tales of Budapest /
During the final days of World War II, a group of refugees, soldiers and civilians find a derailed streetcar by the bank of the Danube River. They decide to repair it and push it back to Budapest, and the film follows their developing relationships and conflicts as they make the long journey.
