Transnational peasant resistance.

Dr. Robin Dunford examines the proposed U.N. declaration on the rights of peasants. The draft declaration and the demand for it came from La Via Campesina, a transnational peasant organization, but the rights the group sought to guarantee were subverted by states and other powerful institutions.
